I came here wanting to print some documents off and the staff were so friendly and helpful. As a visitor I was easily able to sign up for computer / internet / wifi access and was then able to print my documents. Very nice staff.
Dissapointing experience today 27/9/18.It was like being in the middle of a community hall with different activities going on. I called in at 3:30 pm in the hope of completing data entry for my job in work hours as I was surveying in the townsite.Firstly in our area, a very loud conversation between two people discussing how to email, interrupted by loud conversation between another group that was overtaken by a group of singers which was than overtaken by the sound of story time.OMG by 4:00pm I gave up and left, I spoke with the first Librarian I could find and enquired if the Library was a Library or a Community Hall. I was not being condescending but asking a genuine question as sometimes communities combine facilities, I was told no its a Library. I mentioned this was the noisest library I have ever been too and was told that maybe I should return in the evening when it was quieter? I was sure ALL Libraries are meant to be quiet ALL the time!
You must be a member to use the wifi. The children's area could be blocked off with glass doors but, for some reason, no one would shut them even though the mums and bubs were crazy loud. In fact, this is the loudest library I've ever tried to study in (on a Monday). Great new tables for studying, just wish the atmosphere matched.
Really good library but the printings and scannings (0.3$/page) are expensive
Went there today to print of my USB stick. Told I need to be a member, so asked to sign up. Told No because internets down.Asked if she could print it for me on her membership. Still No. Thanks for all your help.
