I Ordered a greek salad for $18, my first thought that it was very over priced but i ordered it anyway as I wasn't feeling the best and wanted something fresh. Upon my salad coming out the portion size was tiny, looked unfresh and to top it off it had a bug right smack bang in the middle. My partner picked the bug out to look at it closer to make it sure it was a bug and yes it was, so he put back onto the side of the plate. We took it back straight away and told the staff, they didn't say too much. After my partner finished his meal we kindly asked for a refund on the salad which had not been touched or remade. The waiter said he would have to check with the owner. The owner straight out refused, talked to my partner like he was a piece of trash then proceeded to tell us that we were lying about the bug. Disgusting customer service and in utter shock to how we were spoken to
Decent food for a cafe, drinks were nice. Serving sizes a bit small for the price, $22 quiche and you get a small slice of quiche and a bit of salad.
Paid $8 for a vanilla thick shake and instead got a luke warm milk shake. Partner got a banana smoothie and got a luke warm banana milk shake. Her glass wasn't even clean. Very disappointed with this place.
I have visited this place quite a few times as local to the area. The food and drink is outstanding and the staff are an absolute credit to this place and make it great! However the reason I won't be returning again is due to the woman who owns this business. On our last visit we found her very rude interrupting her staff whilst serving us. We also went to use the toilet when we left and she told us we had to be paying customers to use this although we had spent over $50. She locked the door in front of us just after leaving and we then went back into the cafe to ask for the key and she again interrupted a staff member to ask if we had paid to use the toilet. I felt embarrassed by her response. Although this place is lovely, the owner ruined our last few experiences here. I will not be returning.
